Ski Trip -
This year is my first year at Campion college and for the first camp I will ever go on in this school is ski trip at Mt. Ruapehu this mountain is located 1 hour and 30 minutes out of Taupo. My friend group are all going on the same trip we have all chosen a group to be in and that group will all be in the same cabin, we have all gone in the same group and so then when we go we can all be together!!! Lola and I both get homesick so we are really hoping that we don't feel homesick this time so then we won't ruin the first time we will ever go skiing. Mum and I have already bought my thermals, 3 long shirts and 2 long johns they are made from merino so then they will keep me warm up the mountain. I have to borrow a couple of things from friends and family as I haven't ever gone skiing before. I have to borrow one of Eva's tramping packs and my Aunty's ski jacket, pants and goggles. When I go on ski trip Mum said I am allowed to bring 3 of my teddys so if I feel homesick it will remind me that I will be home soon, they are only small so they will be easy and alright to pack. I will need to bring 2 pairs of track-pants, 2 hoodies/jerseys, 5 pairs of socks ( Outside and in) and 3 shirts for inside of the cabin. Also for in the cabin toiletries and sleeping bag and a pillowcase. I am really excited and can't wait !!!
